2011 Election: Democrats take over in Folcroft

FOLCROFT — Democratic newcomers Susan Ropski, Lauren Foley, Christine Peterson and Lawrence Penny claimed feat over Republican incumbents Jamie Baroni, David “Spanky” Spangenberg, Robert Schramm and former assemblyman George Dorman, Jr.

The Democratic feat will change a infancy care of precinct legislature from Republican to Democrat.

Ropski is a 42-year proprietor of a borough. She is a connoisseur of Archbishop Prendergast High School, Delaware County Community College and Neumann University. She served in a U.S. Army from 1985-1989.

Ropski is employed as an AP plan accountant with L.F. Driscoll Co. in Bala Cynwyd.

Foley is a six-year precinct resident. She is a connoisseur of Academy Park High School and perceived a bachelor’s grade in general politics from West Chester University.

She is employed as an bureau manager/executive partner for Innovation America in Philadelphia.

Peterson, a lifelong precinct resident, is a connoisseur of Academy Park High School and perceived an associate grade in preparation from Delaware County Community College.

She is now posterior a grade in early childhood preparation from Eastern University.

Peterson is employed during A Child’s Nest Daycare as a pre-kindergarten teacher. She also coaches for a Folcroft Girls Club.

Penny has resided in a precinct for 18 years and is employed as a lorry driver/boom user with Edgmont Stone Supply. Penny is clamp president.
