Actuant Announces Executive Appointments

MILWAUKEE, Sep 08, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) –
Actuant Corporation currently announced a following executive
appointments: David Scheer as Executive Vice President, Electrical
Segment, William Axline as Executive Vice President, Global Customer
Relationships and Varun Vijay Rao as India Country Leader.

Scheer brings endless retail, electrical indiscriminate and general
government knowledge into a Electrical Segment gained from a variety
of different roles. Most recently, he was COO of a GranQuartz division
of Pearlman Enterprises, a premier distributor of mill tools, equipment
and supplies. Prior to that, he was COO of Sigma Electric Manufacturing,
President of Rexel’s Southeast Division and hold government positions in
Thomas Betts and Electroline Manufacturing. He graduated from
Vanderbilt University with a BA in Economics and perceived an MBA from
Baldwin-Wallace in Cleveland.

Axline transitions from a Electrical Segment purpose into this newly
combined position heading Actuant’s tellurian patron relationship
initiative. As partial of Growth + Innovation, he will precedence a broad
operation of products and services in a portfolio, operative opposite the

Rao joins Actuant from Arvin Meritor (now called Inteva Products), where

plan in both a United States and India. His career story also
includes knowledge with Cummins Inc. as good as several smaller global
firms. He graduated from Elon College in North Carolina with a BS in
Mathematics and Physics, and perceived his MS in Mechanical Engineering
from North Carolina State. In this newly combined role, Rao will work
closely with a businesses and segments to rise and govern growth
strategies and align a India group with a vital prophesy of Actuant.
