Mark Twain State Park/Soaring Eagles Golf Course

» Golf course improvements: Replace the course’s substandard, 40-year old irrigation system. $1,300,000

» Roadway improvements: Resurface the parking lot, access drives, and paths around the new clubhouse. $660,000

» Picnic and event shelter: Construct a rental shelter to host special events. $550,000

» Maintenance facility: Upgrade the park’s maintenance area and shop which are in poor condition. $500,000

Schuyler County

Watkins Glen State Park

» Gorge, rim, and Indian trails: Repair the park’s extensive public trails and stonework and address erosion issues. $1,250,000

» Upper park water system: Connect to the municipal drinking water supply system at the park’s south entrance. $300,000

» Main entrance reconstruction: Reconstruct the park’s main entrance in the village of Watkins Glen. The area needs complete reconstruction to better handle pedestrian and vehicle traffic, improve aesthetics and restore historic structures. $2,225,000

» Swimming pool complex: Reconstruct the 1960s-era swimming pool complex which serves day-use and camper visitors. Rehabilitate the bathhouse and bring the area into compliance with current accessibility standards. $2,500,000

» Stone pavilion and lily pond: Rehabilitate the historic stone picnic pavilion, reconstruct stonework, create an accessible route to the lily pond, and landscape the area. $650,000

» Glen Creek, White’s Hollow and Punch Bowl dams: The three dams are in series on Glen Creek and all need significant repairs to remain functional and safe. $750,000

» Group camp water system improvements: Upgrade the drinking water treatment and storage system to address current water quality problems at the Hidden Valley Group camp. $300,000

» Punch Bowl shelter: Enhance the Punch Bowl area stone and timber picnic shelter by installing a restroom, upgrading utilities, and increasing parking. $450,000

Indian Hills Golf Course

» Clubhouse HVAC system: Repair and upgrade the golf clubhouse aging HVAC system. $150,000

» Maintenance facility: Construct a maintenance shop and pesticide storage building (the current facilities are undersized and in extremely poor condition). $1,200,000

» Irrigation system: Upgrade the irrigation system (the current system is substandard). $850,000

Golf course improvements: Reconfigure and resurface cart paths and service roads. $250,000

Pinnacle State Golf Course

» Maintenance facility: Replace the park’s maintenance facility and shop, which is structurally deficient. $400,000

» Levi Pond Dam improvements: Upgrade the park’s earthen dam. $250,000

» Roadway improvements: Resurface park roads and parking areas and expand the clubhouse parking area. $650,000

» Day-use area improvements: Install a picnic shelter and playground and make improvements to restroom and parking area. $600,000

» Golf course improvements: Upgrade the course’s irrigation system. $550,000

» Campground improvements: Reconfigure campsites, upgrade the electric service, and rehabilitate restrooms. $1,300,000

» Comfort stations: Upgrade restrooms in the park’s day use area including code compliance. $450,000

» Picnic area and stone shelter: Improve the park’s central picnic area including rehabilitating the main picnic pavilion, improving drainage, paving paths to reduce erosion, and constructing retaining walls. $600,000

Yates County

Keuka Lake State Park

» Reconstruct and dredge boat launch: The launch needs to be redesigned to improve depth and reduce the constant need to dredge the launch. The sheet piling also needs to be repaired. $750,000

» Park roadways: Repave park roads and parking areas. $1,500,000

» Campground and cabin area: Construct two additional campground loops, new cabins, and electrify additional campsites. $2,500,000

» Trail improvements: Widen and upgrade trails in the park and make them ADA accessible. $400,000
