Choose a Licensed & Insured Roofer
It sounds simple enough. If you want to ensure that your roofing project is contracted with a reputable roofing company, choose a roofer that is licensed and insured. However, some states don’t require licensing. This can make finding a qualified roofer a bit more difficult, however, it is not impossible.
The first course of action is to check with your state’s Department of Professional Regulation and Licensing. Your local department is a wealth of information and can give you all of the information that you need to ensure that your roofer is highly qualified for the job. Once you find out what your state’s licensing and insuring policies are, your next step is to ask the roofer for verification.
A common mistake that many homeowners or business owners make in regards to choosing a licensed and insured roofer is that they simply don’t ask for or verify references. You should ask the roofer to see proof of certification, licenses and their insurance as applicable to state law. However, you should also ask for references from former customers. Yet, those references won’t do you any good if you don’t call them. Make sure you are diligent and thoroughly check out any references that the roofing company gives you.
If your state doesn’t require licensing, you can ask if the roofer has been trained or licensed by any of the manufacturers that they work with. Typically, manufacturers of various roofing materials will provide training and courses in proper installation. A qualified roofing company should be able to provide you with these certifications. Additionally, you should also check with your local Better Business Bureau to see if there have been any past complaints filed against the company. You should also make certain that the roofing company only hires insured and thoroughly trained employees. Ask to see proof of workman’s compensation or other safety certifications for the company’s employees as well.

The house moved apart and major damage has happened. Siding, roofing, drywall, mold!!!! I've got all the problems. The ins. co. told me that the builder we hired is not responsible because he did not perform any work, but hired sub-contractors. We have no contracts with anyone else and we do not have any sub info? Isn't the general contractor responsible for the job? The builder we hired was licensed, and all of the people he had working at our house were working under the gc's license.

IF it was me, it would depend on their expected use of the photo. Will they be re-selling the pic, length of contract, and what I thought my photo was worth.
If you do a search for photo licensing agreements, it will give some samples with basic info you need to write your own agreement, specifically for your needs.

If it was me I would choose the family member. No one will ever take as good of care of your child as you will so the next best thing would be a family member. But if you can't really trust them I would go with the daycare. But do what will be the best for you.

if you want a specialty plate. otherwise, the dealer gets one for you. its part of the fees you pay. and it depends on the state you live in. try google

Yeah, you need to have the driver's license for Army MP. How much would it cost you to get it? Can you borrow some money from a friend or relative? You won't be able to go to training without it. Choose another closely related MOS and best of luck to you in your training!

You can personalize your own plate, but you cant pick a certain plate from the current format the state is using.
If you want to customize your own plates you will probably need to fill out a form and submit it to the DMV. I dont know what the fee is, but you probably will have to wait a little longer since they have to make it and ship it to you.

It will not be the you choosing which business license will be best. You will get the license that is directly related to the operation of the business that you choose.
