CHEYENNE — A thatch executive from Scottsbluff, Neb., says he has mislaid income given his business has a same name as another business that city officials identified as doing work though a license.
Andy Murray, bureau manager with Hometown Roofing Co., pronounced his association is not dependent with another “Hometown Roofing” business of Greeley, Colo., that a city identified as unlicensed.
The difficulty over a dual businesses’ names has cost Murray’s company, that is protected by a city of Cheyenne, about $70,000 in revenue, he said.
The Hometown Roofing from Nebraska performed a city assent progressing this week to correct hail-damaged roofs and has non-stop a Cheyenne office.
A story in Wednesday’s Wyoming Tribune Eagle quoted city Building Safety Department officials as observant a business named “Hometown Roofing” of Greeley, Colo., had been doing roof repairs in Cheyenne though a city license.
