Copper burglary during NLR substation creates mineral-oil mess
LITTLE ROCK A new copper burglary led to a recover of thousands of gallons of vegetable oil in North Little Rock, some of that done a approach into a circuitously H2O supply.
North Little Rock Electric Department General Manager Mike Russ pronounced Tuesday afternoon that an different series of vandals pennyless into a new substation on Highway 391 nearby Galloway and stole copper piping and wires.
In sequence to get to a copper, a theives had to recover about 2,500 gallons of vegetable oil, that spilled out from around a substation.
The occurrence happened between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, when it was detected by a application worker.

The cleanup has been ongoing and should be finished today, Russ said.
