Curtis Wayne Proffitt
Curtis Wayne Proffitt, 55, of South Haven, died Tuesday, Jun 7, 2011 in South Haven, Kan., as a outcome of a motorcycle accident.
He was innate on Dec. 18, 1955 in Sterling, Kan., to relatives Charles Wayne and Ruth Elaine Flessner Proffitt.
He graduated from Sterling High School in 1973.
He married Rose Mary Bane on Jan. 26, 1974 in Sterling. She preceded him in genocide on Jun 14, 2006. He married Sandra Smith on Oct. 15, 2008.
Proffitt was a owners of a former Curt’s Auto Supply in Sterling; Store Manager during O’Reilly’s; Creek Stone during Arkansas City and Calmar in Winfield. He was a proprietor of not usually Sterling, though Wellington for 4 years, Alden, El Dorado and South Haven.
Proffitt grew adult in a Alden United Methodist Church and was a member of a American Bikers Association, Kansas Motorcycle Bikers Association and a American Legion El Dorado Chapter.
He was preceded in genocide by his relatives and son, Chad Osbourn.

Visitation will be hold from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Jun 10 during Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling, Kan. The box will sojourn closed.
Funeral services will be hold during 3 p.m., Friday, Jun 10 during United Methodist Church, Sterling, with Rev. Martin Ewertt officiating. Burial will be hold during a Sterling Community Cemetery.
Memorials have been determined with a Fallen Heroes Fund or Toys for Tots in caring of a wake home.
