Please help to answer the question about license roof contractorflorida law question?
I am a licensed roofing contractor in the state of Florida. I am the
only employee of my company and thus I am exempt from workers comp. I
sub out the labor to a company that supplies the workers and has issued
my a certificate of insurance stating that they carry a million dollar
coverage for workers comp. and two million dollars in liability
coverage. I have been working in this fashion for over a year and I have
believed to be working legally. I have pulled numerous permits with
different counties and city municipalities in the state of Florida and have
never been told other wise. Recently, I have been working jobs in the
Tornado areas that happened near where my business is located. The
Department of business and professional regulation stopped at one of the
jobs I was doing. I don't do the actual work, but I oversee the guys
doing the work. I have a Mexican work force. I was pulling permits at
the time when the DPBR investigator called me to inform me that I was
working illegally and he was putting stop work orders on all my jobs. His
reason was that I was sub-contracting to unlicensed roofers. I thought
that since I was licensed and I checked the work that I was operating
legally. I had no idea that this was not the case. I paid a check
directly to the company that I got the roof labor from and thought that
since I had a certificate of Insurance from them that I was legal. The
DPBR treated me like I was just some guy from out of state with no
license at all trying to trick innocent home owners. I was told that all I
had to do was to put the workers through a payroll service and I would
be allowed to work again. I am more than happy to do this and am in the
process of having that complete. I am well educated with several other
businesses and a college degree. I am also a licensed roofer and
licensed residential builder. I was recently informed from the state
investigator that I am having a case put against me for aiding and embedding
an unlicensed contractor. I had no knowledge of what I was doing was
wrong. If anything, I would think it would be for unknowingly aiding
and embedding an unlicensed contractor. The investigator informed me
that he might turn the case over to the state and said that I would not
like that or he could just give me a $500.00 fine.
That is the history behind this question I am going to ask.
On the stop work orders that they posted on the houses I have done
already, the ones I was doing, and the ones I had pulled permits to do,
they had written that an unlicensed subcontractor was doing work on this
job. I understand where they could come to that statement. On at least
one of the stop work orders that were posted on these houses, one of
them read that an unlicensed contractor was doing the roof on this house.
All of the stop work orders were fill in the blank so I guess there is
the possibility that it was just an error in the omitting of the word
"Sub" in front of contractor. Either way I fill that this is libel on
the part of the county and state. I wanted to know if you felt this was
also the case and if it were possible to sue for this. Also, if you
felt that it was possible to win against the state of Florida and to what
amounts I could seek. Maybe it would be best to leave it alone, but it
was the manner in which I was treated that provoked this action in the
first place. I have already went through a payroll leasing company and
to the best of my knowledge, able to work again. I always felt that a
good name in business is the most important factor of all and I feel as
though mine has been tarnished because of this experience that up until
I was cited, was not aware of.
Just wanted to know your thoughts.

D or so at this time but can be improved:
I think you are trying to stuff too many things into the essay so it doesn't flow very well. Maybe do an outline on what you want to say first. It should flow but right now I can't figure out what one paragraph has to do with the other let alone within each paragraph. For example, your fist paragraph starts about teaching people how to make money then you talk about Bill Gates and Shawn Carter dropping out of school, then other stuff.
Instead of doing a business 101 in an essay, pick the part you can elaborate on more. What stands out most when reading is creating a business out of an idea. Use that but stick to the subject without going off on other things or it sounds a bit "flighty".

You need to make sure you have a period after each complete sentence. You are missing a bunch of comma's.

Leave out personal opinions like "that disgusts me" and unproven accusations.

FYI: The cliche "Good things happened to those that wait" is a reference to patience – not sitting and doing nothing.

I think you can turn this into an A or B paper if you do an outline first, don't try to cover too many things in a short essay, make your story connect from one point to the next, and stay focused on your topic. The point you keep coming back to is taking and idea or dream and make a business out of it. Stick to those examples because the other examples don't hit that message.

    Games console, not cousel
and "kick YOUR a$$" rather than you're
and "stronger" rather than "more stronger"

Other than those minor grammatical errors, the rest of it is excellent! I love how you make the reader actually HATE that Samuel. I think it's well written, especially where you put little snippets of Imperia's opinion in such as "I wish they had" because it makes me automatically think WHY does he wish that?? That is one of the main reasons why I want to continue reading!
I also really like how it starts in kindergarten and then develops to the pivotal area of his life: the fight and, presumably, the fire in his hands. I think that the one thing it needs is a reaction from Samuel in the last couple of lines. E.g "I tried to stop it but how could I? Samuels smug, superior smile began to fade and doubt flickered across his eyes. It felt so good, I wanted to blast him etc.."

Thank you for sharing it with me :) xxx Also, nice name.. Jared Imperia ;)

One thing I wish I had done differently when I designed my house was to make the kitchen more open. It is to small and dark.

I think it's cool that women enjoy it.

I don't watch much football, but I'm glad my wife watches baseball and hockey with me.

You are really talented. Of course it doesn ‘t just look like a photo but there is more. Somehow I’d prefer to see common people in the paintings but this is just a matter of choice. I also hope your art can be recognised. I just uploaded my videos on youtube. Have a look if you like.

Looks like a fucking photo. If I could draw as well as you painted, I’d be rolling in dough. I hope you’re making money off of your talent, because if you’re not, you’re not being given what you deserve.

    Nobody can know for sure.
the best thing you can do is to just bring it up when you talk to her. It would be wrong to hug or kiss her if you're not and since you are both shy you don't want to put her on the spot or make her feel like if she says no you won't be friends anymore.
Next time you talk to her, tell her you like her very much and ask her if she's interested in you and make sure you add "it's okay if you don't" so you get an honest answer. If she says no, it's best to move on with your feelings.
    Good luck.
