Foundation mill laid for oil terminal
LAHORE – The substructure mill was laid for a Machekey (Sheikhupura) oil depot on Tuesday. The plan is a corner try of Overseas Oil Trading Company Pvt Ltd (OOTCL) and Bakri Trading Company Pvt Ltd (BTCPL), says a press release.
The depot will be built on 12 acres of land and will be operational within one year. This is Punjab’s initial and Pakistan’s second depot (after Karachi), of a kind. The belligerent violation rite was attended by MD OOTCL Javed Alam, MD BTCPL Feroz-ed-Din, Haroon Chandanna, Project Director Saba and several other officials. Talking to a media, MD OOTCL Javed Alam pronounced that before to this association is handling a 60,000 ton ability depot in Karachi. Machekey depot will have a storage ability of 10,500 liters (7,000 liters for Hi-speed diesel, 3,250 liters for HS-petrol, and 250 liters for Kerosene). He voiced ambitions of opening another depot during ‘Sahala’ after execution of Machekey terminal.
According to him, a association had a dedicated supply line from Karachi to Mehmood Kot, now it has been extended to Machekey.
