How To Clean Your Saeco Royal Cappuccino Espresso Machine

Cleaning of the Saeco Royal Cappuccino is very simple , its a touch of a button. The first step is rinsing the brew unit, which is where the coffee is brewed. It is critical that you keep this unit nice and clean since the coffee contains natural oils that build up over time in the brew unit and thus will alter the taste of the coffee.

So the first step is to press the menu button then the arrow up button and it will give you have the factory settings. Press the arrow up one more time and you will see the astericks flashing on the rinsing cycle. All you have to do is unsure you have enough water, probably about a litre will do although the tank does hold 2.4L, then press the ENTER button and it will automatically begin the rinsing cycle. Ensure you have a container placed under the spout to catch all the water that passes through the brew unit, to prevent unsightly spills should you start the process and leave it unattended.

Upon commencement of the rinising action, you will observe that the water exiting the unit is a dark brown colour. This shows that there was coffee entrapped within the brew unit, which is now being dissolved through the rinsing cycle and exiting the system. Throughout the cycle expect the Saeco Royal Professional unit to start and stop for up to 20 seconds till the rinsing action is finished. It is all part of the pre-programmed cleaning process so do not be alarmed by this behaviour.

Thats all there is to it. How easy is that! So if you think you need technical prowess or require assistance to help keep your Saeco Espresso Machine clean then think again. Cleaning your Saeco Royal Professional Espresso Machine at the push of a button. Happy Days!
