Interlockroofing Background

Interlock® Roofing has a long and proud tradition of offering homeowners trend-setting, elegant, and environmentally sustainable roofing solutions. Our roofing products are designed and tested to be attractive, durable, and last a lifetime. When you choose Interlock, the first time you replace your roof will also be the last.

Interlock Industries, Inc. had its beginnings three decades ago, starting out with one-office in Vancouver, Canada. Today we’re one of the leading installers of Metal Roofing products across North America, with over 10 distribution centers in Canada and the United States. We’ve installed thousands of roofs in the Pacific Northwest.

Interlock Roofing meets the most rigorous tests of environmental responsibility. Our lifetime roofing products are made from up to 95% recycled materials, and are environmentally sustainable. Interlock is an Energy Star® Partner. Owning an Interlock roof ends the cycle of landfill waste caused by the disposal of failed roofing. And, we are pleased to bring forward practical Solar Roofing solutions allowing you to harvest clean, renewable solar energy that’s sent directly into the power grid. For you, choosing Interlock® means: less dependence on our natural resources, less pollution in your area, and less money out of your pocket over time.

Of special note for our U.S customers, installing Interlock Roofing on your principle residence during the calendar year 2009 can qualify you for a $1,500 tax credit from the United States Federal Government. More information on this program is available on our web site.

For our Canadian customers, installing an Interlock Roof on your principle residence after January 27th, 2009 and before February 1st, 2010 can qualify you for $1,350 tax credit from the Canadian Federal Government under the Home Renovation Tax Credit.

Our products are designed to provide you with the confidence that your decision to invest in our roof is sound, environmentally responsible, and improves the look of your home. Stringent industry tests are conducted on our shingle, slate, tile, shake, and standing seam profiles to confirm maximum protection from extreme climate conditions. Interlock Roofing is exclusively coated with Alunar® Coating System, to ensure ultimate durability, strength, and appearance. An elegant final appearance is achieved with a low gloss matte finish technology. With Interlock®, you will find an appealing color and style to suit you and your home.

We are proud of our partnerships in the following industry organizations: NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association), MRA (Metal roofing Alliance), NARI (National Association of Remodeling Industry), MCA (Metal Construction Association). In unison, we bring forward to the public the many benefits of metal roofing.

Whether you choose to install your roof with an independent Interlock dealer or an affiliated contractor, you have the confidence of knowing your roofing product is environmentally sustainable, manufactured to exceed industry standards, elegantly designed, pays for itself over time, and will last as long as you live in your home.

We stand by what we sell with an industry-leading Lifetime Ltd. Non-prorated 50-year transferable warranty.

On behalf of the Interlock® Team, I am very proud to offer you not only the last roof you will ever need, but also an “Environmentally Sustainable Roofing Solution” for your home.

Sincerely,

Mark Wenzel

Pac Advantage made that a lot harder for us to set up nowdays, because of how badly that went for them. Most of the associations out there pre-date AB1672, which means all of them pre-date the ruin of Pac Advantage.

Essentially, what you have to do is call an insurance carrier, preferably one with whom you and your agency has an extremely good relationship, and talk to them about negotiations.

Because you are looking at an Association Plan, not a regular group, you are not looking at something that the insurance companies HAVE to do, and as a result, it is unlikely they'll want to buy into that. Association plans are CERTAINLY not protected under AB1672, so you'll basically be negotiating with the carrier, to create a new plan, from scratch.

You'll want to have a few hundred people interested in this plan to make it look attractive to the carrier, but you can always start small and renegotiate later.

    Good luck!
