New restaurants open for business in metro-east – News
A new sushi bar is entrance to The Shoppes during St. Clair Square. Wasabi Sushi Bar is relocating in where Maggie Moo’s had changed out during 6530 N. Illinois St. in Fairview Heights, subsequent doorway to Jared Galleria of Jewelry. The former ice cream emporium has been gutted and renovations are underneath way. Stay tuned.
The new Books-A-Million bookstore in Edwardsville is expected to open by Nov. 4. The Birmingham, Ala.-based book tradesman is reoccupying a store during 6601 Edwardsville Crossing Drive, where Borders sealed progressing this month. The metro-east’s other former Borders store during 6601 N. Illinois St. in Fairview Heights stays closed.
The White Cottage in Belleville is scheming to tighten for a season. The final day for a long-standing ice cream mount during 102 Lebanon Ave. and eatery is Oct. 3. It will free for another deteriorate in March. Its series is 234-1120.
And finally, Allen Roofing Siding Co., that has a plcae in Caseyville, has again been named a Top 100 Roofing Contractor by Roofing Contractor Magazine. The St. Louis association was determined in 1972 by Lee Allen and has grown to turn one of a largest thatch and siding contractors in a metro area.
