Please help to answer the question about license roofing contractorIn NJ, do i need licensed contractors to do work in my house? ?
I was wondering if in NJ i need licensed contractors to rip down a wall, install sheet rock, install outlets, install lighting, install new plumbing, refinish my floor, do my roof, etc. I am planning to do some work in my house not a lot, but i was wondering do the contractors i get need to be licensed? Also what type of work do i need to get permits for? And how do i go about doing this in NJ? Please let me know. Thank you
