Smurfit-Stone Leases 83,683 SF in Seattle
Smurfit-Stone, a wrapping and enclosure production and servicing company, sealed a 66-month franchise for 83,683 block feet during AMB’s Portside Distribution Center located during 4050-4450 E. Marginal Way S. in Seattle, WA.
The single-story room building, that totals 407,491 block feet, is also a placement core for Bartell Drugs and Whole Foods, among others. Smurfit-Stone will be handling a new recycling core out of this plcae to act as a materials supply for their enclosure production facilities. The reside hopes to start operations in mid-June 2011.
The AMB Portside Distribution Center was built in 1986 and is located approximately 3 miles from downtown Seattle in a Georgetown Industrial submarket area.
