For more than a century, De’Longhi has accumulated a massive authority in the home appliance arena.. Known originally for its portable heaters and air conditioners, De’Longhi then inflated its business to be the best in all manner of things that are useful at home, especially in the kitchen.

Founded in 1902 by the De’Longhi family in Italy, it proved to be a producer of solid designs, highly sustainable and user-friendly. The family represented the classical Italian design approaches with their foolproof quality.

De’Longhi has so far made a long line of kitchen appliances and cleaning appliances. It’s Esclusivo line of kitchen appliances recieved the Redrot design award in 2007.  In 2006, their designer Giocomo Borin was titled most influential designer in the world.

Among its most famous kitchen appliances are its espresso makers, probably the best there is in a large market of such products.

The brand is especially known for its Artista line of espresso machines. De’Longhi makes all kinds of espresso machines: manual, semi-automatic, and super-automatic.

In 2001, De’Longhi bought the struggling British brand, Kenwood. Hence, it gained access to its facilities in China and transferred the manufacture of its products to China, maintaining art and design in Italy.

De’Longhi in general has a wide appeal as it combines aesthetics, ease of use, sustainablity, and, in the case of espresso machines, variety and customization settings. The brand is, in general, true to its Italian roots ad history, while, at the same time, keeping the urgent advancement of technology.

Currently, De’Longhi caters 75 countries in the world, with international sales

garnering 75% of the company’s revenue.
