Volunteers sought for garden, blockade project
TOWNSEND — Plans are set for harvesting vegetables and blockade building during a Stone Community Garden located on 82 Bayberry Hill.
Harvest Day will be on Oct. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. Garden members are looking for some additional assistance to collect and container a vegetables for a subsequent Townsend Ecumenical Outreach food distribution.
The TEO offers monthly food distribution, a giveaway wardrobe sell for residents of Townsend and surrounding communities, brief tenure support and fuel assistance, puncture support to glow victims, holiday food baskets and behind to propagandize supplies. The Stone Community Garden adds uninformed vegetables to their monthly food distribution.
