People who like to do wood crafts or who are people that build with wood regularly will absolutely know what biscuit jointers & biscuits are. When this tool isn’t used there can be real problems with the final product. If you ever think that you might make something out of wood then you are going to need to learn what this is an why it is so important to the assembly of whatever it is that you’re making.

It will be important to learn very quickly what biscuit jointers & biscuits are when you do decide to do some woodworking. A biscuit jointer is a half circle shaped cut out that is made in the wood. You then have the biscuit which is the lip that sticks out of the other piece of wood so that they can connect. On their own just like that the pieces won’t hold. You will need to apply glue to either the biscuit or the hole for this connection to last. You then join the two pieces together and clamp them tightly. Once you do that you can then let them sit while the glue dries.

You will notice that as the glue dries it should expand and turn clear. If you don’t buy the right glue then you may end up with glue that doesn’t dry clear. You can’t just buy any glue to hold two pieces of wood together. You must instead use wood glue. You are likely to find that the wood glue is harder than the wood itself when it dries.
